In my opinion the pen drawing was the most fun. It gave such leeway and space for you to get creative. It also helped me learn to show where light and shadow mass is. Something I did dislike about this medium was how long it takes to complete. Mine is nothing compared to people who do these for real but it definitely took a long time to first sketch it and then do individual dots.

In terms of charcoal it is a medium I like to work with but it is a love hate relationship. I love the way it is so forgiving and easy to move but at the same time when I am finished or working and I accidentally smudge or erase with my hand it is frustrating. As you can see by the photo there are fingerprints around the edges. But overall I think it is quite a fun medium to try out every once in a while
The inspired artist I have chosen is Sheena Liam. She was born in Selangor Malaysia and now lives in no particular place because she is a famous international model. She started work at 12 as a TV extra and it led her to her becoming a model for the magazine Seventeen at only 15 years old. She uses embroidery hoops and thread (usually the color dark green) to create these beautiful pieces of work. I find her work very inspiring and beautiful because it's not just on paper and it must take a lot of time and work. Her work is amazing and so presise and I have never thought of using embroidery in the way that she has. The fact that she uses the same thread in most of her pieces makes it seem familiar and part of an entire collection. She is an impressive person because she simultaneously is a model and an artist. https://www.instagram.com/sheenaliam/?hl=en
